PRINTING BY ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
We are expanding our portfolio of value-added services with the printing of steel using additive manufacturing (AM).
DESIGN OF THE TOOL
As a high added value service company, we include the engineering and design service of the tooling or component to be made by additive manufacturing. Our team of technicians will be able to offer you the optimum design for your application that will allow you to make the most of the possibilities that additive manufacturing offers: highly complex cooling systems that make it possible to shorten the production and cooling cycles of the tool, as well as increasing its useful life. The possibilities offered by this type of tooling production allow designs that were previously unfeasible using traditional methods to be realised.
AM PRINTING
In our voestalpine Additive Manufacturing Center we can print your design on our BÖHLER steels. Two types of AM printing are available:
- Powder Bed Fusion (fusión por lecho de polvo)
- Laser Beam Deposition (deposición por capas de polvo)
HEAT TREATMENT AND COATING
We also offer you the possibility to heat treat your tool or component. The best possible option to ensure that your tool receives the most suitable treatment according to our steel grades and AM printing.
